Golf Swing Lessons

golf swing Lessons can greatly help a golfer's game. To maximize the money spent on lessons, its a very good idea to read up about the golf swing and learn on or our own first. There is a lot of good information that can be found in magazines, books, videos, audios and the information answer many questions we have about the golf swing.

Once we have an understanding of the golf swing and had practice, its easier to understand what people are saying. When someone tells you that your shoulders are open and thats causing you to slice, you'll understand the terminology of "open shoulders".

A good time to go for golf lessons is when we want to fine tune certain parts of our swings. Because the golf swing has many parts to it and because we can't observe our own swing, having a golf coach to look at our swing then is quite useful. Or course, another way is simply to practice with a friend and he can easily point out what is wrong with your swing.

For example, I use to have a collapsed look at the top of my swing, plus my wrist was cupped. this results in inconsistency. Another instance, what may feel like a three quarter swing, may turn out to be a full swing, and a full swing may turn out to be an over swing. ts difficult to know what is wrong because muscle sensations may not be correct and can deceive us.

So if you're starting out golf, try reading up about the golf swing and practice with short irons up to middle irons to get a basic understanding first. That will allow you to focus on asking the right questions during a golf lesson.
